Western Riders- What do you find more difficult to train for, Barrel Racing or Reining?
I'm curious is all. I would think Reining, but you tell me.
I think reining horse would have to be much better trained, they have to do such precision moves in their competition! Even a 1/4 of too much of a spin would get them disqualified. They have to do all the maneuvers just perfect to win.
I think I have seen more poor horsemanship at barrel races and more horses that hate what they are doing than in any other discipline.
