How much all up would it cost for an Aussie to go to Malaysia for about 3 weeks all up.?
Would it be cheaper than going around Australia? I just came back from holiday to central Australia, Darwin, Kakadu, Surfers Paradise and Cairns. I was on various tours most of the time and staying on my own in some upmarket hotels. Over a 4 week period all up it would have cost about $8k. This time I would be going with a friend.
It all depends on your itinerary while here in Malaysia. How much of the country do you want to cover?
Accommodation for 3 weeks - approx RM4000 or A$1400. Less when you share room wit a friend.
Transport and air tickets - RM5000.
Sightseeing and souvenirs - RM3000.
Food and misc - RM2000
All in, come prepared with A$5-6K
