How to clean a smelly leather belt?
My partner has a leather belt he really loves, one of my cats pooed on the belt, and she has this funny bowel problem where her poos smell... well I can't think of any way to describe how bad it smells, but it's BAD
Now the belt smells like poo even though I've washed it, does anyone have an idea of how to clean it so it doesn't smell like poo?
No guarantees but I would pack soda around it for a few days and re oil it with animal or vegetable fat derived oil.Never , but never use petroleum oil on leather! P.S. put the cat outside too!
